The Chimera grew out of trying to play a melody from memory. This live improvisational duet is inspired by a chance hearing of a song from The Alan Lomax Archive: I remembered the melody, but neglected to write down the accurate title and credits.
The performance was held at the former site of the Hunter College art studio building, in a room adjacent to the bus entry of the Lincoln Tunnel.
